About Charles “Chuck” J. Comella, Jr.
Chuck has practiced law on Florida’s emerald coast since 2009, primarily assisting clients with real estate and commercial litigation matters. Since 2016, Chuck has completed the rigorous testing and peer review required to earn board certification in real estate law by the Florida Bar. His practice has included many different types of real estate disputes, including failure to disclose cases, boundary disputes, foreclosure prosecution and defense, debt and judgment collections and defense, landlord/tenant, construction defect disputes, restrictive covenant disputes, and community association law, among other types of disputes. Chuck has represented plaintiffs, defendants, individuals, businesses, financial institutions, borrowers, community associations, association members, business owners, construction companies, property owners, landlords, and tenants. Chuck is willing and able to litigate when required, but his goal is always to help clients to accomplish their objectives in the most cost-effective way possible.
Chuck grew up in Destin, Florida and then earned his Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Psychology from the University of West Florida in Pensacola. He went on to earn his Law degree at the Florida State University College of Law in Tallahassee, where he graduated in the top 10% of his class. He began his law career at the law firm of Richard H. Powell & Associates in Fort Walton Beach and later worked at the Chesser & Barr law firm in Shalimar.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, watching sports, enjoying our beautiful beaches, kayaking, and fishing.
